Yes, no? Maybe so? I heard that most people just take it off all together.

Also does the sr use SUP()() powersteering that KA engines use?

you may be mistaking it for AC. PS is something that is feasible in any SR swap as long as you have the DOHC PS setup (lines and reservoir).

a lot of people tend to ditch the AC in an SR swap because a custom line must be made to the compressor.

I dont trust myself making custom **** in my garage, unless its super easy, like a hole or something.

Last time i step out of my comfort zone to make something, i ended up over heating a lotus engine.

i didnt really trip too much off the AC in my car. since we're in norcal, it tends to be a little cooler next to the bay. besides, you gotta love the natural heat from the motor, and the air rushing in from the engine bay. well at least thats how my car feels.

Custom lines aren't a biggie at all, but other ****, like pipes, gaskets, etc.

And i wasn't planning on anything yet, just wondering.

Man up and ditch the powersteering. When you get a quick release, you can be damn sure no one is going to be able to steal your ride.

i agree, ditch the power steering! im going on three years now on my redtop with no a/c no power steering and i love it.

power steering is for jdm tyte drifters yo. so if you wanna drift and have flush mesh wheels then rock on with the power steering.

It cost me $7.50 to hook up the power steering in my truck. I bought some heater hose at the local auto parts store and use my factory KA high pressure line. Cut the hard line about 3-4" long and use a flare tool to make the fitting. It's very simple and makes parking a hell of a lot easier.

lol I drove without power steering for years and I hate it compared to having power steering. Especially when I have to parallel park on campus.

You have finer control with power steering. You can be more precise because you aren't fighting the wheel for life and death.

That said, I do not have power steering because I was too lazy to hook it up, but I'm getting it back shortly.
