Ive just finished doing my sr20det into a 240 swap and ran into what i am assuming is the recirculator valve circled in the pic. I hooked one end into the hot pipe and the other end goes down into the exhaust below the turbo. Is this normal or is this even a recirculator?

its not the recirculator. its for emissions and you can just get rid of it. i had it on my blacktop and when i put on the turbine extension i just took it out. i believe the other hose went to the intake and not the hotpipe if i remember correctly.

YEP, it does not go into the hotpipe. Just get rid of it.

Aww i get it now the bov was attached to the stock intercooler which i had never seen, this probably explains why my car has been idling like crap all that boost leaking into an egr valve backwards lol
