sr20det rebuild snapped distributor

So im rebuilding my engine and took everything apart. When it came to the CAS, i took the two bolts holding it but it wouldnt budge. I saw a video of an sr20 rebuild and it looked like it should've came right out. Well i applied a bit more pressure and it snapped . Now it spins in place, but still wont come out. Is there something i missed or did it just weld itself in from age? how would i go about taking it out? thanks for any help

Should slide right out. Try spinning the cams a little maybe there is tension on the gear

yeah it came out, but i need a new CAS :/
