What could cause a sr20det to read low compression. I found someone who has a sr20det with low compression for $400 w/ turbo. Its comign from Canada but I live in St. Louis, so around $600 for a blown sr20... anyways, what could cause the sr20 to have low compression.

Do you mean lower compression pistons or low compression like reading 100 on a compression meter?

Lower compression pistons allow for more boost safely. Low compression on a stock motor means bad rings, vavles or HG.
