Ok I have a Redtop sitting in my 89 S13 and the only way i have ever started an engine (had a KAE in it) was a push start. I cant seem to find a wire that comes off the starter to hook it up can anybody help? Thanks in advance...

Edit- and what size is the oil line banjo bolt for the turbo? and does anyone know where to get it?

The banjo bolt for the oil line is a special restrictor bolt. Not sure on the thread/pitch of it though.

As far as your starter goes, which wire are you missing? There are two that go to the starter a big thick one and a thin black/yellow one.

There is a small black harness that plugs onto the small metal tab on the starter near the ground wire bolts. I have the banjo bolts here and here but not the smallest banjo bolt.

There are 3 water bolts They're all the large 19mm head. Two go to the feed line, and one goes to the return line. Then there's the smaller 17mm head oil restrictor bolt for the oil feed line. The part in the turbo is a flare fitting and the return pipe just bolts on with 2 standard M10 bolts.

Since you stated that you need the oil banjo bolt, positron doesn't have what you need unfortunately. The water bolts and the oil bolt are not interchangable

I would think that the banjo bolt would be identical on a 300ZX, though. It might be possible to order one brand new that way. I would call up either Courtesy or West Covina and double check with them. They have access to the JDM catalogue and can cross check it for you.

useful thread!

I was looking for the oil banjo.

the thread in my block is worn/stripped. im going to get a custom bolt made thats alittle longer to make use of that extra tread.

crazy but effective.
