Hey guys I am finally looking to get an SR swap done to my 92' 240sx.I was wondering if the transmission from the KA engine will bolt up to the SR engine or will I have to get a transmission off a SR engine?

The KA24DE trans will work, 5th gear is a little taller, but other than that, all the other gears are the same ratio.

Buy the bell housing off of an SR20 transmission.

If you order a motorset to do your swap you'll get a transmission anyhow.

Well I was thinking about getting the swap from japanstarmotor.com....give some info if you guys ever heard of this company. I think on there ad they say that they don't have the transmission with the engine.

You would be better off ordering from one of our sponsors. I never heard that company but then again maybe somebody else has.

DO NOT ORDER JUST A MOTOR SET!!! YOU WILL BE MISSING TONS OF STUFF AND IT WILL COST YOU IF NOT THE SAME BUT MAYBE MORE THAN A CLIP!!!

for yer first swap its well advised to get a front clip...you will have EVERYTHING you need for the swap...and u will use just about everything from the clip minus the power steering stuff and a few other odds and ends
