sr20det question red top cold air intake is there a point?

hey whats up i have a sr red top and from what ive seen not many people put cold air intakes on them .i was wondering will it make a diffrence if i do?

It might help a little bit, but the cold air is still going right into a hot turbo so it will just heat back up again. Then go through your fmic and cool down again

Like said above, no point to a cold air intake when the air is just going to be heated as its compressed. Your intercooler will cool it for you.
