I decided to go with the SR20DET this weekend i'll be shoping/buying for one online if the price is right. I went to a few local shops and they said they could install it in if its nothing real special .

I told him it should be the same and a few things he told me I should worry about is:

- Fuel Pump- Clutch Size- Brakes ( no biggie)- CV Joints- exhaust hook up

What I am asking if anyone has swaped something like this? Like was a fuel pump a real big problem and did u have to get a differnt clutch and what did the CV Joints do after it was drove around... and last Do I have to chang out the whole exhaught out or just headers ( I have aftermarket exhaust ?

Any suggestions and recomendations? And dose anyone know a place in Pittsburgh Area that you recomend?Last... WOULD a SR20VE swap be cheaper? of so what would I have to worry about that or is it the same?

Thanks

The SR20DET is a straight swap in for cars that originally came with a SR20. You will be concerned with the following:

Clutch will be a necessityFuel pump a necessityFuel/Engine management necessityUpgraded motor mounts optionalExhaust necessityGauges some optional a couple necessaryBrakes are optional, but recommended even if you go with NX2000 brakes

No a SR20VE swap is not cheaper and makes less power.
