I currently have a KA24DE in my 93 coupe, and I never revv past 6k rpm, because the power pretty much drops off afterward. Where does the power start and end on an SR? I heard they rev to 7,200-7,400rpms, but is there power up that high? I'm just curious.

I'm gonna get one next summer, so I'm trying to learn everything technical. Maybe start treating this motor like a turbo motor, so I won't strain the SR when I get it. LoL.

Nick.

sr..

kinda depends on how the car is tuned and the mods you have. stock it will rev to 7500, but the power starts to drop off 1000rpm earlier or so...ive seen peaks at 6000, 6500, some cars are tuned to peak at 7000, 8000, or even 8500, but it will depend on how the motor is built. I dont have any stock dyno charts, im sure they are on the internet somewhere, and you can look for sure, i have no dyno sheets for my car, so i can not look at them right now, sorry.
