between the size difference and the "why the hell would you want to" factor, not really. I see absolutelty no reason to ever ever put pistons from a smaller capacity engine into a bigger one. Now I'm not completely sure as the the SR's actually design and measurements but I've seen SR pistons next to KAs and they look way too small fit. properly.

yeah i noticed that too i think there might be some way to get some sleeves or something but i was just saying because the SR pistons are alot stronger. And also that i want my car to pass smog and look legal while the sr20 is not but w/e thats not the point i would just like stronger pistons and also because i can get 4 sr20 pistons with connecting rods for $20 with like 30k miles on them cause i think thats a pretty good deal from one of my friends.

Its an idea from hell. If through some unearthly means it even works.... ech... there is really still no point to it. A lot of things are likely to go well before a poston. In an NA engine its not going to matter at all, in a Forced Induction, you'd have to be running some high-ish pressure for it to matter still

I've never heard of sr pistons being stronger than ka pistons, but I reckon I ain't heard everything yet. Ka pistons are well known to withstand quite a bit. 300hp isn't uncommon. The ring lands seem to give up somewhere between that and 400.

size does matter. the sr's pistons are too small to fill the bores on the ka. it'd be like tossing a toothpick into a volcano lol
