Yep, I've seen one or two. Seems pointless to me.

CheezHead!!! HEHEActually I have been considering getting a cheap Pickup and putting a SR in it, but I decided to get my S14 instead.I do beleive that there was something about banging on the firewall for the SR to go in. Hell I know it that my S13 has almost no space between the back of the motor and firewall.

i remember reading about one

a 2wd hardbody is pretty much layed out the same as a early 240sx, and there are probably issues with the firewall, hardbodies have a really small engine bay

i would rather turbo my 94 vg30e hardbody, think about it.. its the same motor that was used in 300zx's, except i doubt there is any room on the driver side bay to bolt up the manifold and turbo, i would rather do it on the passenger side bay, there is alot of room to mount it, except you would have to rerout the exhuast crossover.. but i assume you could just not crossover the exhuast and just use three cylinders to spool the turbo

but all id do is put a really really small turbo on it, run quite low boost, these single cam vg's dont have a whole lot of power

I have done it to a 91 hardbody with the redtop and its not difficult and (firewall) clearance is not really an issue
