this might be a stupid question, but why are there 3 different part numbers for each side? i've only ever seen one style of 180sx glass, its not like they changed designs iirc.

That is a timing chain tensioner and it's by your water pump. the spot under your car by the transmission/upper oil pan is missing the plate cover.

I need part numbers for the camshaft caps (FSM calls them camshaft brackets) for a blacktop (chuki, not kouki) S13 SR20DET. thanks.

I just c & p-ed the parts list. I'm sure there were small revisions to the glass that warranted new parts numbers.

so would it be a big deal if order standard bearing pack main and rod sets for a 91 sentra se-r and rings to do my sr20det red top rebuild. my bearings are all the same on my mains and rods. know u have to cross numbers but looks like this motor had minimal wear with all the same bearings. i never saw the motor run.. but everything looks good. also. on the bottom of the block (exhaust side.) there is a connector that threads into the block near the rear. by connector i'm talking looks like a 1/2 inch tube goes to in.. myn somehow dissapeared.. i'd post a pic but yeah its gone and i don't know much else to explain it.. basically looked like a treaded end with a pipe coming out that a tube connects to. not even sure where to get one.... please help a noob =)

i have 4 coil packs for red top sr20det will sell for 40 a piece or 120 for all of them and the wire harness for them.. they are spare off my old engine

16432-40P00 off a VG30DETT should work for the oil feed banjo bolt to the block.

This might have already been covered.I need to know the part on the throttle body cable that connects to the throttle body bracket where you tighten the two screws to hold it tight to the bracket. sorry if that doesnt make sense

Thats the distributor cap for a sr20de s13 does anyone know what that would cross reference to so I could get parts at autozone and not the dealer.

Its not a keeper and I'm already not going to make any money on selling it.

Ok if anyone else runs into this the solution is simple take the plug wires outta a sr20 sentra and the cap and rotor out of a ka24de in my case I just got it out of a 1993. Flip the cap around backwards and copy the firing order off of the original cap + keep the original for later.

oddly a 1997 Mazda 626 was almost the same I was tempted to try using the whole distributor. The output shaft was just slightly longer on the Nissan which is why the caps are different. But I guess they are all Mitsubishi distributors anyways.

Need a reference for...SR20DET...Thermostat water inlet pice that connects to the thermostat housing. Its the piece that comes from the radiator to the hose and at the end of the house connects to the houseing where thermostat is. Would a SE-R one work?

What car could I get a coil pack to use with my Redtop? and will it look the same? I saw on the 1st page it says 90-95 300zx or 95 and newer Maxima. Is the 300zx NA or Turbo??
