I assume you're asking if the internals are the same between a DE and a DET? Such as pistons, rods, crank, etc?

As far as I know, they are not. They should share the same bore/stroke ratio, but the pistons are different between the two (if the NA RWD motor is the same as our NA FWD motors)

My s14a sr20det automatic transmission, will walk up me sr20de transmission !!!!!!

The transmissions should be the same between a DE and DET, except maybe 5th. The SR20DEs might share the same 5th gear as our KA24DEs, but that's not even that different. The DET's 5th gear just helps keep the rpms up a few extra hundred to help spool the turbo while cruising.

Automatics are a different world entirely for SRs. They should work better on a DE than a DET because of the way a turbo works. An automatic transmission should have more turbo lag than a manual because of the way the auto shifts. However, once the turbo spools up, the DET will outrun the DE through the extra gained power.

I do apologize, though. I'm having a difficult time understanding what you're asking.
