SR20DET or KA24DET?

Hey guys im trying to sell my 300 and buy a s14, i want to get an engine swap of either of the sr or ka turbos..i was wondering which one in your opinion is the better one? also how much would each cost for the full swap and all the wiring things you need and replacements...can you post both new and used prices? thanks.

actually i will tell you what basically everyone else will say...theyre both good engines, they both have their advantages and disadvantages

Yeah....def do a lot of searching and research...Both engines have lots of ups and downs to using either.....what it really comes down to is which u would rather use. Me personally, i am a fan of the KA24DE-T....of course i grew up with big block muscle cars under the premise of "There's no replacement for displacement," which is true....kinda :-)

but theres really no right or wrong choice, and we already have plenty of engine war threads

Simplest solition is to just do research for yourself. numbers are never the same so gotta invest your own time

I'm gettin a little bit of ticking and some engine rocking out of my sr20det, it also freels like theres a little more turbo lag then before, could this be as easy of a fix as my timing chain?
