SR20DET oil pump = SR20DE oil pump???

I've seen a post that said they're different. THen a post that followed it saying that the info is wrong and that they're the same.

Can someone confirm? If the same, is it just the oil pump gears that are the same? What about the cover and anything else usually included in a oil pump set.

No, you have to get an SR oil pump or SR front cover.

You should probably be more specific than "SR" since we are talking about multiple types of SR20's

ok, how about this.

S13 Redtop Oil Pump = SR20DE oil pump (1991-1994 Sentra SE-R)???

What needs to be changed when changing the oil pump? can you just change the oil pump or do you want to chagne the cover too?
