Car: upgrading my car

I am severly interested in making my car faster and better. I was wondering if i could get a vote on what i should do. Should i stay with my ka and completely rebuild it and put in an turbo or should i go to the sr20det and put alot of parts on it? When you post could you please post what i should do to it(depending which motor)? Thanks
