I have recently purchased an SR20DET ECU from ebay without realizing the connector is different. After doing some research I found it is the same as something around a 95-98 S14 KA24DE connector. After digging more I found out it is an OBDII plug. The ECU came off a 180sx Blacktop Type-X (OBDII).

I have been looking to the edge of the internet and trying to derive the pinout from various FSM's for everything from standard SR20DET connectors, to KA24E OBDII connectors, to SR20DE OBDII connectors (I have a fair amount of electrical knowledge, but apparently not enough to figure this out).

Anyone have the pinout for this ECU or able to point me in the right direction?

Btw, the ECU is an "XC", 23710 5P600. The socket on the ECU is white and the housing is not gold, it is just the silver of the tin/steel or whatever its made of.

Thanks a million guys!

Finally figured out whats up. The item description on ebay was wrong. It is a Y33 (1997-1999) Nissan Cedric VQ25DE ECU.

That sucks you bought the wrong ECU. As far as I know though, the type-x uses the same plug as any s13 SR, although there are slight pinout differences.
