Will my car was driving fine(*s14 with sr).. and battery die so my friend try to jump it and accidently put the pos on the neg and the neg on the pos..Then we switch it back and the car would crank but not starting and when we try to start it a few more times we smell gas.. not sure if fuel pump might be out..If you guys have had the same problem lmk...Thanks

check your fusible link on the battery cable. chances are that blew before anything else.

it is located on the positive terminal where the green fuse looking connectors go. feel the wire. if it feels like the wire is hollow, more than likely it blew.

check already its not that.. it trys to start and fuel is going through but i think its not getting spark.. like after 5 or 6 trys theres like a strong smell of gasoline..i tried poppin the clutch it just jumps forward but engine wont fire up?? if you guys know more please help..had the car only for 1 week and previous owner wont asnwer my calls

when you hooked up the lead incorrectly you could have spiked the ecm. since your getting fuel though you might be ok. See if you can check codes on the ecm or communicate through the obd port.

I agree with dori...the fuel is a good sign.You need to check your coils for spark.FSM PAGE EC-156
