I recently purchased an SR20DET S13 for a winter beater, and drove it for a few weeks with no issues. Before I drove it however, I fixed a left rear wheel bearing, put aftermarket turbo back exhaust on, and changed the O2 sensor (not sure if this is relevant but I decided to say it anyways). Last Thursday, I drove it to work with no issues. When I went to start up the car after work, it just cranked and didn't fire up. So I started diagnosing. I had no spark and no fuel injector pulse. Turns out the guy I bought the car from didn't solder the ignitor connector, just twisted and taped them. So I soldered all those connections (he had a Z32 ignitor if it matters, with a couple wires doing nothing). After doing so I had spark, but still no fuel injector pulse. After a long weekend of diagnosing the MAF, CAS, TPS, CTS, and all wiring, everything turned out to be in working order. But I still had no fuel injector pulse. I decided to start replacing parts. Tried a buddy's ignitor, with no change in symptoms. Tried another ECU, figuring the injector drivers might have gotten burnt by the ignitor wires grounding out, but this was not the case. So here I am, on a Sunday night, with a broken car. If anyone has any suggestions, I am very open to them. Thank you in advance.

P.S.: I have gone through all the diagnostic procedures in the FSM for the injector, CAS, TPS, and most other circuits, but nothing seems to be helping.

The setup is a stock SR20DET blacktop, only modifications are an FMIC and a Koyo radiator. The car also has a remanufactured ECU part number 2731M 50F05. There is no provisions to read codes, however on my friend's ECU that I tried it flashed a 55.

Edit: Forgot to mention I am getting 12v (maybe 11.8) to the injectors, and the wire that goes from each injector to the ECU, all of them have continuity, and not shorted to ground. Also, I have lots of fuel pressure. The car will start fine with starting fluid/ether, so I believe the only issue is the lack of fuel injector pulse. TPS also tested out to be fine and not entering clear flood mode.

I had the same problem with mine after the install. First it started everyonce in a while, but after a few days nothing. Instead of trying to solder the heavy gauge wires starter, black/ blue wire , battery wires etc. I bought a heavy amplifier block made by Fosgate, and problem solved. It even tucked nicely by the fuse box on the pass side. The wire to power up the coil packs was the prob. on mine. Good Luck

Unfortunately, all of my coil packs have 12v going to them, continuity to ground, and continuity to the ignitor chip. Thank you.

I purchased the car with the SR20DET already installed. It drove fine for me for a few weeks, and for at least 6 months for the guy before me.

UPDATE: I seem to be getting 5.8 volts to the injectors now... wiring related problem perhaps?

Edit: Took apart the whole wiring harness today, and turns out the positive wire that feeds the injectors is crimped by factory, and it was all corroded, two red wires feed the 4 injector wires, and one of the main red wires was corroded off. Have yet to see if the car will start now...

Thanks. That was indeed the problem. Good thing I double and triple and quadruple (you get the point) checked everything, I guess the wire was barely holding on, which is why I was still seeing 12 volts at the beginning of my diagnosis. Thanks again to all who helped.

Dude I think I went back through my harness job3 times befor I got it straight. The first time I didnt have the coilpacks wired up thanks to bad instructions. The I had to redo a few corners I cut. All good now. Oh I also installed one of those aem f/ ic's talking about a wiring nightmare. It never worked but I am now a wiring master lol.
