So I just put in a sr20det into my 91
hatchback, everything is in, wiring seems to be fine no idiot lights turn on in the dash, motor turns over fine and has compression, but no spark... Does anyone
know of a way I can test anything before replacing it and wasting money? Jw if I could test the coil packs somehow, or the CAS or if anythig else is causing this? I'm so anxious to drive please help!!!

Did you splice the bracket/red wire into the blue/red wire by the fuse box? If you didn't then there is no power to the coils. Get a volt meter and check power at the coils....should be 12v with the key on.

I don't think so I'll check, what's the bracket/red wire? Is it
coming out of the fuse box?

Sorry, damned predicted text. Black/red wire. You should remember which wire cuz its the only wire the SR harness has and chassis harness doesn't. There pretty decent sized wire too.

Okay, we did those wires and spliced them together in the engine harness cuz it said to on a directions sheet that was part of a step by step process
o how to re wire the harness(someone
sent it to me on here) So is that the same thing or do u have to do it on the chassis harness too?
