Ok i have a built sr with aries piston and eagle rods. The head is bone stock i ran it for about 2,000 miles no problem then this problem occurred. Well after replacing the cams, rocker arms, new cam squirters it still did nothing. The oil just kind of ooozes out so i put and new head on it thinking this would fix it for sure and still the same problem weak oil pressure to the head. It has a brand new oem oil pump on it. Im starting to loose ideals of what it could be. Im really trying to avoid pulling the motor again since ive had it out 7 times now.

Oil passage at the block clogged, maybe got metal debris in it when it was getting machined.
What does your oil pressure look like?

oil pressure is like 80 psi on cold start then drops to 40 psi then eventually 20psi at idle. Its weird though cause this probably came out of no where. I noticed when my motor developed a bad sputter due to woren cam lopes

no dents in the oil pan at all i put a new oil pick on it as well thinking there was a possiblity there was a clog. Im stumpped i just got it running again last night thinking all was swell and my head started ticking pulled oil cap off and out came smoke it lost oil pressure again. Idk if its worth transferring my pistons and rods to a new block or what.

If you have oil pressure, but nothing/little going to the head, something is clogged/blocked. You might have to pull the head and check all the passages.

Without taking the engine apart and checking every passage, I think your best bet it to take an air gun and blow everything back to see if you can find the blockage.
