So im going to be redoing the majority of the seals on the SR i have before i put it in. Ive been looking around for gaskets for the cooling system on it and i have not found ANY at all..

I was looking at the Full gasket set they make for the SR but i cant spot any that would be for where the thermostat housing connects to the block or where the thermostat housing tube (the 3 bolt part the lower radiator hose attaches to) goes. So i assume that i use Silcone liquid gasket for ALL of the cooling system parts?

If you know they make gaskets for some of the things please direct me towards them because IMO Gaskets>RTV silicone.

Use Permatex Ultra Copper 101BR for all the parts you mentioned, including the lower oil pan. It works for me, plus no leaks. It's sensor safe and high temp silicone gasket maker. My2cents.

Once you learn to use rtv correctly and prep the surface for a new silicone gasket, you'll wonder why they don't use this stuff everywhere else.

Trick is to getting a clean surface thats not greasy or oily or has old rtv on it, installing the new one, and waiting 20 mins til you torque it down so it has time to set.

My plan was to apply it, Tighten it and torque it and then let it set overnight or for a few days since i need more parts anyways before it will be running.

I'm really trying to figure out what sealant to use for all the coolant parts, like the thermostat housing, and thermostat housing where it attaches to the block as well as the water pump and upper hose outlet...

when re'doing anything other than the coolant system, i would say you should go to nissan and get the RTV they sell for motors like yours, that dont use gaskets in certain area's and when applying it run a bead and put together what ever your putting together and torque it half way, then let the rtv sit for an hour or so and then go back and torque whatever it is your torque'ing to specs. this is the recommended way from nissan.

Toyota sealant is the best I've ever used. I have the P/N in my rebuild thread

I prefer Toyota. I've used a lot of gasket maker over the years, and Toyota's easily out performs the others IMO.
