ok I have a blown s13 sr20det. I have looked high and low and can't find anyone selling a long block or short block sr20det. Does anyone know where I might be able to just buy a long block or short block? I called jgy and a few other places... none would sell just a motor, I had to get the whole set .

thanks in advance

Austin

We have a shortblock at work that we are selling. One cylinder is like 15psi below the rest, could probably use some new rings.

Give me your zip and I can get you a price shipped.

We have two longblocks.

First longblock is still currently installed and I can get info you want about it (compression, video, etc). We are pulling it out because he is going LS1 and parting out the SR. Good compression, strong engine. Had ARP headstuds, Greddy headgasket, resurfaced head, and new valveseals installed 10k miles ago. $700

Second longblock has low compression in #4 cylinder (like 15psi down) with moderate blowby and could probably use a hone and new piston rings, at the very least. We haven't opened this engine so I cannot guarantee anything. $550

Shipping on either long block to 66061 would be $225 to a residential address ($20 cheaper if to commercial address) via R&L Freight.

Awesome..I think i'm down to either that shortblock, or the longblock that you have. Do you think you could send me some more information on the sr20 longblock you have? It sounds like something that might fit for me if it is a good strong motor. My email is [email protected]

Thanks man

I almost got a longblock from "JDM of miami".I have had good products from them before. I think it's still available, redtop with good compression and all for 699. Of course you have shipping on that too. The longblock that was just posted above though sounds pretty good, even better if it's kinda close to you.
