Ok so ive had my built sr20det in for like 2000 miles now it was running great idleing great then one day on my way home from work it started to miss fire as soon as it goes past 3,000 rpms. Ok ill tell you the mods first its a sr with a 57trim turbo bottom mount set up on 10psi boost, stock ecu and stock injectors. Ive replaced ecu, maf, wireing harness, coil packs, spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter, igniter chip, cas , injectors, throttle body with tps. Im totally lost now i thought one of those things would solve the issue any help would or pointer would be great

check connection around the ignitor and ur coil packs. also what are u plugs gapped to. u could have toasted the old plugs in it and started blowing out the flame and if u didnt gap the new ones to about .030 or .8mm u could still be blowing our the plug fire.

whats ur plug gap? i gapped mine to .031 one time and while it was fine on low and stock boost (7psi and 11psi) it would blow it out on high (16psi). i gapped down to 0.28 and havnt had a problem yet. that .003 gap is all it took to make the difference

i think there at .30 but im pretty sure its not that i think i found the problem for good and it aint good at all the cams are like really scared now and wore down alot they have groves in them now. Could this be because its not getting enough oil pressure in the head. The lobes are down as well

Did you use assembly lube when you installed the cams? Also, what did you torque them at?

i dont remeber exactly what i torqued them to i no i used the ones of the online manual so that shouldnt be the issue ive replaced cams more then 50 times so i doubt its something to do with that im thinking the oil pump is weak and not getting enough oil pressure to the head
