I drove to a car meet tonight, parked my car, shut it off, it was in good running order...I start it about 3 hours later and it seems like its misfiring? putters real bad, a buddy said it couldnt be a vacuum leak, so my question is, is there any signs of a coilpack going bad? or would it just go out like that? I need suggestions and opinions, please help me out.

thanks

Might help if you tell us when it's doing the misfire and if it seems to get better or worse with RPM.

his car has a hard time when you initially open the throttle up...it hesitates REALLY bad...and it sputters really hard then the motor will rev up...seems alright when he has the idle up (when the throttle is open)..just that initial first rev...im not sure what it is

Mike...did u check ur SAFC when its at idle and when u get on the throttle to see if its leaning out or ne thing???

have you check all your intercooler connectors? It could be a vaccum leak, MAFS cars dont like leaks at all...

ya well this happened at like 11:30 at night, no flashlights, I drove it home and parked it till the next day, so my buddy matt comes over at like 1 in the afternoon, we pop the hood and see the orange connector, some jerkoff pulled 1 of my injector clips, problem is fixed, thanks anyways though

i kinda thought it was fuel related...the motor wont jerk like that unless u are lacking fuel...im glad u found it was something small mike =)
