SR20DET mated to a 93 240sx auto tranny

Just wondering if this could be done? I have a 1993 240sx with the automatic transmission. I am planning a SR20DET swap in the future and was wondering if you could mate the SR20 to the auto, or is converting the car to manual required?

KA trans will not bolt up to SR - bell housing is different. For manual trans you can swap bell housings easily, but auto trans does not have a removable bell housing. You would need the SR auto transmission.

That's what I figured, Thank you for the help. I think I may just do a manual tranny swap if I decide to go the SR route.
