I took off the upper heat shield, then attempted to take off the lower heat insulator, got all the bolts except one which was stripped so i just bent it out of the way for now. After taking the top shield off and starting the car i found the leak (if open full screen you can see where i circled in red and green):

This is my first turbo car, so i'm still learning about most of how it all works. I found in the S14 manual i downloaded from a thread on here that the nuts holding the turbo to the manifold have a plate underneath them that has little tabs that are supposed to be bent up against the side of the nuts to help prevent them from coming loose or w/e. Other than that i'm not sure how to go about fixing this so i figure i would post up on here for help.

From the pictures does it look like the stud has came loose, if so what should i do from this point? Also, i was looking at gaskets to order since i figured i might have to end up taking the manifold off to fix this, would any of you recommend getting either of these two:

If not please let me know what i should use if i even need to get any.

So i took my manifold and turbo off today, so i'm ready to put the new manifold in when it comes. And found the definite cause to my exhaust leak lol:

yeah, I've heard that's a common problem. Those gaskets always go and leak, i just had to change mine. those gaskets you posted up top are good too.
