Sorry if this is a repeated question but I cannot find any answers after searching this sr20 specific forum...

I am working on an s13 to s13 sr20det swap...do I swap the KA lower harness over to the sr or just use SR's lower harness? My brother is helping me with the wiring so I want to get as much done BEFORE the engine gets dropped in. Any help and advise is appreciated.

u can use your ka lower harness in place of the sr lower harness. The plugs are the same.

The only plugs that are the same is the alternator and the little single female connector that goes to the starter. I just did a swap and I can tell you the transmission plugs and the plugs coming from the fuse box are definitely different. You are gonna need to splice the plugs from your KA to your SR harness. There are probably 10 trillion write ups so just search around and I'm sure you'll find something detailed enough to walk you through it. Good luck with everything! Matter of fact....... this is a nice start http://www.frsport.com/SR20DET....html
