sr20det losing power any ideas?

Complaint: car loses all power (but does still returns to idle) at close to the end of 3rd gear almost exactly 7 grand, and right around 6 grand in 4th. have not tacked out 5th yet. I don't get throttle response back until i let completely off the petal and get back on it, somtime it takes a few seconds. If I don't let up on the throttle and keep it to the floor then power never comes back, I must let up on throttle. Thats what happens in a strait line, but last night i was playing around in a parking lot trying some drifting and felt like it was cutting out in 1st and second under heavy load so that changed my thinking slightly. car does hit rev limiter in every gear (shouldnt matter because trans sensors are unplugged)

I can figure this problem out if I wanted, but trying to get a head start. This summer I built a 300zx 2+2 tt conversion and just finished my s13 sr20det . Also I am an ASE certified Audi tech so skip all the flaming and easy stuff. This car is stock I built my side mount intercooler setup from the bone yard, with a puller fan running wastegate spring 7lbs and 255 warblo pump, recirculation valve, sr20 maf, 63 auto ecu, unplugged all the sensors on the transmission, brand new ngk iridium, j30 diff, sr20 wiring harness I made, 15% btdc timing set , electric fan and intercooler puller fan on separate relays. low volage signal was tapped into fuel pump signal wire (I'm going to change the signal wire soon and I know its not the best choice but I don't think that's the problem) I have not tried to pull codes yet. somebody with some sr20 knowledge got any ideas?
