OK so i got the engine in the car everything is all ready to go, but i cant for the life of me find the type of gear oil for the transmission, ive search and everything but im an idiot. so if anyone knows i would be delighted to hear from you! thank you very much to the wizard of sr knowledge who would be so generous as to answer my simple noobie question. have a niec day! rock on sr:ylsuper

Well, um, ok, it's any API GL-4 will do, I use Redline MTL. Any 80W-90 weight will do. "JDM tyteness" eh, that's a new one. Let me go scrawl it down in my "sub-standard slang phrases I would never use if my life depended on it" book. sorry, just can't stand that junk.........

Put redline in it. They make the best oil and gear fluid in my opinion

thanks for the quick replies. Yes the jdm stunna lingo is quite lame and retarded i admit, but its funny in a twisted riceboy way. I just bought some Redline MTL90 and everyone i've talked to says it BAD, BRo, like in a GOOD way. Easier to get ahold of than the oh so cool Royal Purple too.
