sr20det is falling on its face around 5800rpm help!!! please

So my sr is messing up and I just don't know I know a coulple things that could be wrong but not sure. The car runs normal until you get to high rpm and it doseent pop or anything it just like shuts down , and if you try and stay in it it will just surge until you let off but it won't go past that point . Dose anybody have any ideas on what could be the problem

Haha you guys are really helpfull

What upgrades do you have?Maybe your hitting fuel cut? Do you have an upgraded fuel pump?
