SR20DET into 85+Nissan PU/Hardbody!?

Hey guys,I need help!I'm wondering if I can fit a sr20det rwd into a nissan pickup/hardbody? Will it only drop into the 90-97? or will it fit in the 85-89 too? What will I need? I already have a sr20det rwd in a 240sx. Can I just take the whole swap and drop it into the truck? Please help me out asap...The local people here don't know much about nissans. Thanx.

yea it will work but it will take some custom fabing of mounts and getting an entire wiring harness for that engine. when you say 85 to89 you are talking about 2 different trucks too. up til 86.5 it was a 720 pickup from 86.5 and up it was a D21.
