I have an s14 sr20det. I have been looking into intake manifolds and have noticed the much cheaper ISIS intake manifold. Looks to me like they just copied the design of the trusted greddy manifold. I was wondering if anyone knows how well they flow compared to the greddy?

I wouldnt buy it a friend of mine says thats it's the best non name brand to go with when it comes to "intercoolers" but thats it and still it's not good for a big HP set up. But anything else from them he wouldnt touch. And trust me he knows everything about 240's. I know this isnt the question you asked but i thought id just put in my 2 cents about the brand. Id go with Greddy for reliability

I would start calling some companies that do porting work with a flow bench for that kind of info. I doubt the Isis Mani was flow tested. But the greddy has and shows HP gain above 6500 rpm's. What they don't tell you is that the stock Mani gives up to as much as 20whp more than greddy in the mid range. If I where to do it again I'd get my stock im extrude honed, ported, and bigger throttle body with flange to fit, and tig welded on in place of old flange. I will tell you that I bought a Freddy Mani and when I had my head ported they also flow tested my intake and exhaust Mani and they both didn't flow evenly and needed work.

Isis is just cheap Chinese copies, the greddy has much smothers internal welds and no burs, and they are extrude honed. When you can buy legit.

Thats what i was thinking, i have seen the flow charts greddy give with there intakes and they are possitive after 6500 but is it worth the money when you can get that out of the stock mani. The bling factor of course but that does not bother me. I will do all my other mods and tune and see if i even want to upgrade the mani.
