I have seen it in a couple Option mags and I think once in a Bestmotoring video (or maybe that was a rotary). Either way, I have seen pictures of it before. I can't help you anymore then by just saying I've seen it. Sorry.

BTW, why would you want to do that? A 4AGZE from a AW11 (older MR2) comes supercharged and bolts in pretty easy. Also, I know a guy that removed the charger and installed a custom turbo kit using junk yard parts except for the manifold...the thing was fast. Just something else for you to think about.:)

ItzGenX is right. I saw a picture of a MKIV Supra with a SR20DET engine in it once. I'll see if I can dig it up.

oops...I thought you were posting some pics of the SR into a hachi. I really should start paying more attention. That's a pretty good collection of misplaced engines you posted

There's these guys in the same town as me that has a 7mgte in their ae86.

Also my friend with an ae86 was asking me to give him my sr20, but I just told him to go with the 3sgte. He's really planning to go with the 2JZ though.

Anyone know of a good toyota page with engine/chassis designations and the such, maybe a 240sx.org type? Just doing some research.

everything you want to know about old corollas. they have rotary powered 86s, dsm powered 86s, 3sgte te27s, etc etc. their reference section has information about chassis and designation as well as other things. their bbs is also superb and quite informative. like here if you go SEARCH BEFORE YOU ASK QUESTIONS.
