Will a S13 redtop and an S13 blacktop fit in an S14 chassis with no modification or is some modifications neccessary?

Thanks

Isn't this in the FAQ?

wiring is the a little different, in regards to all the accessories, like A/C, wiper, ABS.

you need a front mount for the engine, not the chassis.

but overall, yea, you're golden.

D'OH!!! FRONT MOUNT: FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER. Buud is saying you need the intercooler from the engine you have, not the chassis.

Well, I have that...hehe.

One more question...What fuse box do I need to use? I'm was going to use my stock S14 fuse box, but at the sr20hybrid site, they told me to use the S13 power plugs and the power plugs are exactly what shown on the Fuse box plugs. So What do I do? Those are F8 and F10 S13 SR power plugs.

Also, they told me to use the "other" end of the instrument panel plugs from the S13...what other end are they talking about?

Ooh, you got me on that one, I am not too sure. One of several reasons I am doing s14-s14.

I got it now. I think he meant that use the other end so you hardwire the other end instead of hardwire the plugs...get it? Why is S14 any easier than S13? Plus, S13 SR has a little bit more protential than the VVTI S14...that's what I heard.

Depends on what route you are going to take

1. High HP full build up = s13 SR2. Bolt ons = s14

A friend of mine that has a s14 with s15 t28 and bolt ons made close to 254hp 268lb/ft

Another friend that has s13 blacktop with GT 2830(?) is making 253hp 230lb/ft with aditional bolt ons

You ask me they are the same but power to price the s14 get the nod. For big build projects go for the s13

I have a full compliment of bolt-ons and you can see my numbers in my sig

S13s sound meaner also:pface:thumbup

You can use the S14 Fuse box. Recomend swapping the S14 KA lower engine harness onto the SR20. That way it all plugs into your fuse box. The harness stuff is a PITA from S13 to S14 but it can be done easily. No need to run 5' wires thru the firewall when you can make the connections at the ECU harness. That's the only drawback to using the http://sr20.hybrids.jp/install....html method.

As far as the wipres are concerned, just leave the F3 plug on the Ka harness and take the harness apart and only cutting wires you don't need.
