SR20det idles fine but will not rev PLEASE HELP

Ok heres the deal the car starts and idles fine but for some reason will not rev...i have 2 mafs and it doesnt look like thats the problem but im not ruleing it out completely....im just stumped so if some of you hardcore SR guys could help me out that would be just fine thanks guys...

Check the wiring to the MAFS and/or possibly your timing could be off.

You could check the ECU for error codes. If the MAFS circuit isn't working the car will not rev past approximately 2400-3000 RPM's. Where does it stop reving at?

Maybe a fuel problem. Injectors could be clogged, fuel pump might not be supplying enough fuel. Or too much fuel. Maybe O2 sensor, but not sure I forgot if my car would idle when I unplugged mine (for experimental purposes, heh).

Everyone with used injectors should pay the $60 or less it costs and get them cleaned! Well worth it! (FYI)

Im affraid to say this, not to insult your intelligence but we need to cover all bases.

Did you attach the throttle cable to the throttle body?

How about physically turning the throttle by hand on the body?
