SR20det idle problem

I have a nx2000 with a sr20det swap. My problem is that the idle is never lower than 1500rpms, and thats with it adjusted all the way down. Also sometimes the idle will jump quickly between about 1500 and 2000rpms. I am thinking coolant temp sensor but Im not sure. Any ideas. Thanks

Check your hoses, especially around the throttle body/intake mani. I had one missing in that area that gave me a 1500rpm idle.

If your coolant temp sensor was bad, the car would probably struggle to run once it got warm, at least that's been my experience.
