My car idles around 1500 rpm's. I'm still new to this car, and it use to idle at 1100, which i thought was ok. But reading on it more i found out that was even high. What can i do to bring the rpm's down safely?

Adjust the idle air control valve. There's a screw on the valve that's visible between the 2nd and 3rd runners of the intake manifold

well.. my car idles up to 2k rpm when it's cold and then drops down to 1.5k after about a min and then down to 1k after another min. Is this normal. (S14 SR20DET)

yes thats perfectly normal. as long as when its warm its around 700-1k you are fine.

you can check the IACV, throttle cable, or check if your car is running too lean at idle.

After trying to wire up a relay so I can arm the car while it is still running I managed to start the car in the ON position. Rewired everything back up and it started at 1k rpm's from the get go. I didn't have to wait 2 min for the rpm's to drop down. Is this good? Link to the relay thing i'm trying to do: zer...18466
