my bad my bad
i was all messed up. right now i'm at work on lunch and about to head out, so i'll take a quick gander to see how mine's set up.
okay, so, two on top of the TB and one below. cap the one below off; it's for the charcoal canister, unless you WANT to use it.
i think the top left is the smaller nippe, for the FPR and boost gauge
top right, bigger nipple, wastegate/BOV.
sorry about the confusion.
*another EDIT
okay, it's a little tough to see, but this is the factory setup. okay, so, FPR on the top left, top right DOES go to the canister, leave that one alone, and bottom left, fudge it and cap it off. tap into the top right nipple, unless your hks kit comes with a barb somewhere.
i feel bad.. i should have just shut the hell up, huh? haha
i was tired of effing with all the lines after a while, and i wanted to put my w/g source as close to the turbo as possible. i went to the hardware store and went to the air tools section and looked at their air accessories. i found a barb, (i forget how many milimeters.. but there were only a few options, and i went for bigger than small. as long as your boost line can fit on it snuggly, it's okay) and i also found a nut with the same thread. the aluminum hotpipe is.. well, aluminum, and not very thick. i didn't want to tap it and find out there wasn't enough "meat" on it.oh, and i bought a tap. lol
i got home, examined exactly where i wanted to put the fitting, and it was 1/4 ways up the pipe coming from the turbo. i marked it, used a nice stepbit to drill it out (obviously you want to be careful and go slow, as to not screw up and drill too big). when it was just a tad small in diameter than my barb, i got the tap and threaded it. you gotta be REAL straight, and take your time, do it right. 'cause if you mess it up, you probably just caused yourself a lot more hassle.tap went in with a little resistance; good. i threaded it in, out, in, out, in and out, lightly, until i was satisfied. i put some super high strength, heat resistant epoxy on the barb's threads, right before i threaded it into the pipe. why not? then on the inside of the pipe, i snuck the nut in there and tightened everything snug. not too tight, but snug.don't ask how i got the nut in there. it was a religious experience. months later and i couldn't take that barb out if i wanted to.
i hope i haven't caused you more problems than you started with
