I've read various places that stroking (longer stroke) the SR20 causes a decrease in RPM postential and more wear and tear etc due to increase piston travel.
My question is if I kept the same crankshaft but sleeve and bored the block to 90mm making it right under 2.2lL, would I see the same problems as stroking ?
Or should I skip the stroke or bigger 90mm bore and run stock compression with all forged bottom end ?
What would be the gains of running a 90mm bore other than a little more torque ?
