I am in the process of swapping out my KA24E (out already) and replacing it with a Redtop SR20DET into my 1990 240sx fastback. I already have the motor, intercooler, transmission, bla bla-- didnt do the full front clip but i have almost all of the parts i need.

One thing that I am concerned about though financially is the Gauge cluster. They aren't too expensive, but I am wondering if the car can be driven without replacing it until I have enough $ that i can spend on one. Also as far as power steering, what do I do? Any advice would be great from experienced members. thanks!

You can drive the car without the cluster NO problem at all. You will still be able to tell speed, just not RPM's.

PS you need:1991+ PS resevoir1991+ PS high pressure line1991+ SR PS pumpSome hose to run from the resevoir to the PS pumpSome hose to make the low pressure line if you dont get one

The high pressure line is the only hard part to get since everyone needs them, everything else is relatively easy to get. Try to get ALL the parts at a local junkyard (except for the SR ps pump of course).
