sr20det heater core

How hard is it to replace the heater core and hoses on a sr20det if the motor is already completely in the car? If anyone has any articles or suggestions related to this I would really appreciate it, I am freeeeezing right now. Thanks guys.

The motor doesn't affect how hard it is to get to the heater core. The dash pad, however, is completely in the way. Most shops I've talked to have had to remove the dash to get at the heater core box
