sr20det head problems

I need help with my sr20det. the head keeps have grooves in the head where the cam sits it has happened on 2 heads now. and will a sr20de head out of a ser fit on a rwd sr20det? need help asap

FWD heads are not the same as RWD heads.

If you're chewing up cam journals, I would see why that's hasppening and fix the cause instead of band aiding the result.

Are you using the same cams throughout this process. If it keeps messing up the journals on the head, its most likely the cams being not smooth. If you are using different cams, make sure you torque down the cam bridges to spec and make sure you do it right.

yea i am pretty sure they are the same cams the motor came for a friend. i helped put the motor together. please post other problems it could be.
