Hey guys, just about a month ago I purchased a 240sx with an sr20det swap but the head was removed because of a bent valve. Now that I've bought about $1500 in internals for the head it's time to go ahead and reassemble this.

I'm only 18 but far from inexperienced with cars. My daily driver (a 99 volvo s70 ) has seen quite a bit of work and I have connections with a motorcycle shop and access to all sorts of tools. But I was wondering if there were any helpful tips in putting this back together. If I would have taken the head apart myself it would be easy to remember all the quirks in taking it apart which would help put it back together. But I bought it in pieces and any help would be appreciated.

I already have the fsm and have been researching since I bought the car but what I'd like are some tips from the guys with hands on experience doing this. I'm gonna spend all sunday on this and I'd like to get it running that day; what should I be ready for as I embark on getting this head back in and getting the sr running?

That's the kind of specific little details I'm looking for.

Thanks

definately two people makes it alot easier but one person can do it as long as you take your time.
