can i run a 86mm x 0.8mm thickness head gasket with no problems what so ever and with out doing anything to the valve train?

Yeah that should be fine if you have stock bore pistons. Also you can always get a bigger bore gasket and it will work fine, but you cannot get a smaller bore gasket then the piston bore. The 86mm is actually 87, It will work fine. Also remember when your are installing to spray the copper gasket sealer on it. Spray a thin layer of that copper stuff on both side of the gasket. Also the gasket thinkness is fine. Stock i think is .5mm you are going a little thick which will slightly lower compression, which in tirn will let you run more boost safer.

thanks man, so if Apexi is offering a 87mm bore also should i get that instead? i am running stock bore.

actually 1.1 is stock thickness. ,8 will up your compression slightly but not enoguh to really notice
