Hey my head gasket blew. I am trying to replace it with a metal one. Which one should I go with Cometic(cheaper) or Greddy(expensive), also the sizes im looking at 1.2mm, 1.3mm 1.4mm? Also, the bore size on these head gaskets rangefrom 86.5 to 88mm where the standard size 86mm. Please I need help with which one to go with?

Between Cometic & GReddy, I'd pick GReddy... simply because we offer that, hee hee:

Greddy S13 SR20DET Head Gasket

If you are concerned with staying closer to stock size:

Tomei S13 SR20DET Head Gasket

The Tomei is 1.2mm & 87mm bore. The only head gasket we offer that is 86mm bore is the OEM one.

I'd go with 1.2mm or 1.1mm thickness to keep the compression ratio normal - I'm guessing your car is stock sr20. Higher thickness lowers your compression ratio, which is typically only done when changing to non-stock pistons or higher hp sr's.

I just asked one of our SR guys @ the office while he was in the middle of something else - so that's the most info I can give you right now, hee hee.

You should try asking on the SR subsection of Nico.
