Hello,

Not sure if this is the right place to post. I recently switched to a Greddy style (Freddy) intake manifold. One of the issues with these kinds of manifolds seems to be that the throttle cable does not line up at all with the manifold's mounting location. I decided to make a sort of bracket that would fit between the throttle body and the intake manifold. Here is the finished product installed.

It took me a couple of hours of measuring and drafting to design this thing. I'm not sure how many people would actually need something like this, but I want to give out the design rather than people having to depend on me for distribution. Below is a link to the bracket in DXF (autocad) format. Anyone in need of one of these things should be able to give the file to a CNC shop / http://www.emachineshop.com and have them make it. Feel free to distribute, edit, whatever.

*Please note - This fits perfectly on my 1995 S14 with an S13 SR20DET and the original throttle cable. I do not know for sure if it fits an S13 with an S13 SR20DET.
**I used 5052 aluminum for the ones I had made. I'm sure the plan could be used for any kind of metal, but was told 5052 or 6061 aluminum were the best options for this kind of bracket.
*** I don't claim to be the first one to make this sort of bracket. I think I am the first to give out the design though, because I couldn't find one. My only hope here is that this is useful for someone! :)

Thanks for sharing! I currently use a bracket that bolts to the front of the TB, but this is an interesting solution! Always cool to see people willing to share with the community their solutions to common problems.
