whoops....just did a more thorough search any found out that i need the 95 and up 300zx injectors.....sorry dont flame me..

anyways since i opened this topic.....any ideas why after installing the walbro fuel pump.....my injector died....

well b4 i installed the new pump there was a slight hesitation at wot....thats why i thougt i wasnt getting enough fuel...hence the new walbro pump...oh yeah my sr20det is completely stock.....so im just running 7psi of boost...

im thinking that the injector was starting to fail.....and it was just a coincidence that it died after i installed the walbro pump...

any comments or ideas ....just dont want to get a new injector and have that crapp out too...

Well, are you running an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? It is probably a fact that this specific injector was failing before the Walbro install, but with the excess pressure of the Walbro pump, it caused it to fail even faster.

You can use any 1994-1996 Nissan 300ZX Twin turbo injector. 1990-1993 TT injectors will appear to fit right, but won't seal.

Im having a similar issue, injector leaning out under demand. Ive gone through a few buggered up ones, I think sitting around in a junkyard for a few years dont do these things any favors.

Im running a nismo adjustable fpr (43.5psi at idle), and a walbro 255L/hr pump. If you are running a stock fpr your fuel pressure will be a lot higher, I peaked over 60psi under load.

I bought new 300zx injectors (16600-00006) online and am waiting for them to be delivered. I hope this will solve my problem
