sr20det from 7-9-12 psi help

i gotta stock sr20det redtop.

When i first got my sr20det a week ago, it was boosting 7 psi on a stock exhaust. gotta new 3 inch exhaust and it was boosting 9 Psi.

i wanna push 12 psi on the track. I have a hallman pro MBC from my last ka-t setup.

How do i raise the boost? do i just hook up the boost controller?

You want to have a boost source from very close to the turbo (i.e. your hot pipe). Take the boost source and feed it to the boost controller. Now another line goes from the boost controller to the waste gate.

I have a hallman Pro as well (a great MBC). and I have the boost signal going to the side of the MBC and the bottom fitting goes to the wastegate.

if you have a nipple on your hot pipe thats where you should hook it up.

well i got no nipple but i still up hook my mbc and it works fine. no boost creep.

from the throttlebody nipple that goes to the bov. it gets t'ed off to the manual boost controller. then out to the wastegate.

i got hallman bc. full close is 8psi. 1 full turn is 10 psi. 1/4 from that is 12. and 2 full turn is 15psi.

i have a hotpipe nipple from my last set up that is pinched off right now.

so the throttle body nipple goes to the BOV

and the hotpipe nipple goes to the MBC to the wastegate?

yes. if you have a nipple on your hot pipe you can do that. but if you dont you can do it my way.
