Please send help
Sr20det. Turbosmart fpr 800
First off I'm lead to believe I need to set my base at 43.5psi By jumping the fuel relay. But when I do this I can only turn it up to 30psi. Is there something wrong with my fpr or where should I look.

Any help is appreciated

Sounds like your fuel pump is on the way out OR you have not closed the FPR enough yet, assuming fully cranked down the highest pressure you get is 30psi
***Try setting the base pressure with engine on and the vacuum reference removed from the FPR (this is where you should set to 43.5psi. When you re attach the vacuum/boost reference to the regulator you'll see fuel pressure drop by the same amount of vacuum your engine makes.
